Stellium

A stellium is a cluster of three or more planets in a single sign or house of a natal chart, heavily concentrating energy in that area of life.

The term "stellium" comes from the Latin stellae, "stars," and describes a rare configuration where three, four, or more planets land close together in one zodiac sign or one astrological house. That concentration acts like a magnifying glass: the theme of the sign or house holding the stellium becomes dominant in a person's character or life story, often to the point where that sphere feels like it "won't let go" — constantly returning, demanding attention, and giving both strong resources and overload. A stellium in the seventh house (partnerships), for example, can mean relationships are the main arena where a person learns and faces challenges the most, while a stellium in Virgo concentrates traits of precision, analysis, and self-criticism above all the other sides of a person's nature. Reading a stellium is trickier than reading a single planet: you have to account for how several planets clustered together form aspects with one another and with the rest of the chart. For self-knowledge, a stellium is a signal: if some area of life keeps taking center stage, it's worth exploring it consciously rather than trying to downplay or ignore it out of overload.
